PRODUCT : QUATTRO PRO NUMBER : 531
VERSION : ALL
OS : DOS
DATE : April 18, 1991 PAGE : 1/1
TITLE : STICKY MENUS
As a default, Quattro Pro does not keep track of the last menu
options selected. Therefore, each time a menu is activated, the
first item on the menu is highlighted. This is true for all
versions of Quattro Pro.
If you wish to set 'sticky' menus for version 1.x, please follow
these steps:
1. </><Options><Startup><Edit Menus>
2. </><Options><Remember><Yes><Quit>
3. </><Exit>
If you are using the 1-2-3 menu structure, follow these steps:
1. </><Worksheet><Global><Default><Files><Edit Menus>
2. </><Options><Remember><Yes><Quit>
3. </><Exit>
_________________________________________________________________
If you wish to set this feature for all other versions, follow
these steps:
1. In cell A1 of a blank spreadsheet, enter:
{/ Startup;Remember}Y
2. </> <Tools> <Macro> <Execute>. Type A1 and press <Enter>.
By performing these steps, you will be creating and executing a
macro. Now the "Sticky Menu" feature of Quattro Pro version 2.0
has been enabled. There is no need to save this spreadsheet
since the 'sticky' menu feature will be saved as a system default
after the execution of /Options | Update.
To save this feature as a default in ALL versions of Quattro Pro,
select /Options | Update. Quattro Pro will now remember the last
menu option you selected from each menu.
